Thai Shrimp with BroccoSproutsServes 4 As a flavor profile much in demand, Thai foods have the essence of freshness with just enough different seasonings to be exotic. This simple recipe can be prepared in minutes. For a complete meal is does well over a bed of rice or noodles.
In a large skillet heat the oil over medium high heat. when hot add the shrimp and sauté until they turn pink on each side. Remove with a slotted spoon and hold. In the same pan add the bell pepper and green beans. Sauté for 4 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients up to and including the brown sugar. Bring to a boil and then simmer until green beans are tender. Stir in the BroccoSprouts, basil and scallions. Return the shrimp to the pan and heat for 1 minute. Serve immediately.
